The Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam

The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam gives art and history meaning for a wide, (inter)national audience. After a prolonged renovation, the Rijksmuseum was re-opened to public on April 13th 2013. On 1 November 2014 the renovated Philips Wing opened. And a new wing, means a new restaurant! EME was part of a team that was working on the development of this unique concept for restaurant RIJKS®. Chef Joris Bijdendijk created a menu based on Dutch products with the influences from countriesfar and near. The dishes prepared with high quality ingredients are uniquely presented and served by well trained, welcoming staff. Hot and cold dishes can be shared, in order to be able to enjoy as much as possible of the colourful cuisine. Quality, authenticity, uniqueness, are translated to the cuisine, the chefs, the interior and the location. Recently CN Traveler voted Rijks restaurant as one of the best restaurants in Europa, read the article here.
