Casa 400 is a unique hotel concept where the hotel operation is combined with student accommodation. Casa 400 offers 520 hotel rooms, 13 meeting rooms, a restaurant and a bar. The challenge for EME was to develop an entirely new F&B concept for Casa 400. A trendy, unique and functional new concept for both hotel guests and locals with a separate branding. East57 has been opened in September 2014 and has a coffee corner, a deli store, a new restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a wine bar. At the coffee corner guests and locals can go for, of course, a cup of coffee or tea and other sweets of the Vlaamsch Broodhuys. The deli is the heart of the concept; a wide selection of freshly prepared dishes and products from local suppliers are offered. Like the dried sausages of Brandt & Levie, olives and olive oil of Olives & More, beers of Brouwerij ‘t IJ and the cheeses of Erik’s Delicatessen, all from local suppliers. The restaurant offers an all-day menu with soups, salads, sandwiches and meat/fish/veggie platters, but desserts and pastries. Further, you can enjoy a glass of wine in the bar with tasty appetizers.
